I feel like I've gotten a lot done! When in reality all I did was watch a bunch of movies. I still feel an urge to go see the Hobbit 2 again. It's just so good, I can't even deal. Also, I'm extremely tempted to get the 3 blu-ray extended version of the Hobbit 1 at Anttila... I am a weak person, not sure if I'm going to get it or not but still. It would have the "...Kili, that's not an elfmaid!" scene! Do want. I'm definitely buying the most extended and special-features-including edition of DoS I can find, though. And Thor: The Dark World. It's official. Loki: the First Avenger is included in the DVD extras.
The weakness of my character was also demonstrated on Thursday when we popped into Gamestop - there was a single last copy left of The Legend Of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D. The last copy. And it was only 35€! I couldn't resist. The game seems to be a bit of a pain on my eyes to play, but I love the way they've used 3D and motion detection technology for certain features. It also reminds me of the older Zelda games which are genuinely difficult to play - a feature which I thought to be absent from e.g. The Link Between Worlds. I'll see if the Hero Mode, which is available after the first play through the entire game, brings more difficulty into the game or if it's just going to mean that the hero's hearts decrease easier. Who knows... also, I never saw a sign of the damn Pegasos Boots in the entire game and I'm a bit bitter. Maybe they're also only available after Hero Mode has been unlocked? I saw them on a player who had much more advanced gear than me, so what do you know.
BBC's Sherlock's series 3 has started airing. The first episode came out on Wednesday and the second one I finished watching about 20 minutes ago. I can't say these episodes have been a letdown - but I'm also hovering at a point indefinitely outside fandom because for crying out loud, this is one of the British detective dramas I watch with my parents! The two first episodes have been extremely fan-friendly though. I wonder if I have to explain some fandom references etc. to my parents while we're watching them on TV later, haha. (Sherlock series 3 starts airing in Finland sometime in late January, so only a couple weeks from now.)
Subtv has also picked up Sleepy Hollow and Vikings, which I've both been intending to watch but just... haven't? There's also Hannibal (same story there) and then I really would like to start watching Pushing Daisies (let's be real - LEE PACE IS IN IT. HOW COULD I RESIST). My parents agreed to pay for a Netflix account though, so that's great, I just haven't been able to figure out how to work with the browser add-on that lets you view the US Netflix yet. But I will, because I've seen it working at J's house.
This has been a random fandom spewage. Bye for now! I shall consume the stolen delicacies - Ferrero Rocher - and waste some precious time reading fanfic in preparation of the Teen Wolf 3B premiere tomorrow!
