#18

It's been 11 days again! Oh God. Oh well.

Cue birthday money and enough of it to buy both Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Pokémon X. Also, A and all of my other friends made me a revenge manbook. HA. It had so many cutesy pictures of (let's be real, mostly Hiddles) my favourite actors, there were even some party king Thranduil illustrations.

Animal Crossing is very cute if mostly just a visually upgraded replica of Wild World - but I only started it yesterday, and there's a bunch of stuff you can improve and add to your town later, like a café and a hairdressers' which will probably make it a lot more worthwhile. (So far I've pretty much just witnessed the same sad puns about the fish species' names. Sigh.) I do adore the graphics, though. And a penguin citizen called Roald calls me 'ladybro', which is a definite win in my book.

Pokémon X is supremely adorable! I TALKED TO A LITTLE KID IN THE GAME AND MY TRAINER CROUCHED TO HIS EYE LEVER DO YOU UNDERSTAND? I CAN'T DEAL WITH THESE KINDS OF HEART PALPITATIONS, HAVE MERCY, POKÉMON. Even their running is an adorable tappity-tap. The game moves so quickly, though, that it's actually legitimately difficult to talk to some of the NPC's. They run around very fast and ... well. It's a bit of a mess. Especially now that if you use the "joystick"-type controller, your roller skates suddenly activate. Wut.

Also, when we had extended family over for my birthday, my cousin came with them. We had, like, a moment of reconnection over fangirling around LotR and Thranduil and Lee Pace. Also, she apparently has a Tumblr. and I don't know how to handle this information. I remember when I carried her around when she was a widdle baby and I was maybe 4? I don't know why they even let me lug her around (there's no way that was exactly safe, is there) but it's a thing I remember happening. AND. My cousin also gave me a link to a streaming site that had Pushing Daisies. In actuality, I had to skip that one and find another, because the stream providers did not agree with my mobile devices, but still - she kind of (hah) pushed me to find the series despite the fact that the USA version of Netflix is still refusing to function on my computers.

I got my birthday presents from R, too. I... I can't even? They're so perfect! I got a comic!adult!sitting-on-a-throne!Loki t-shirt, obnoxiously pink pyjamas with a picture of the Avenger men + Spiderman and the text "I ♥ BOYS IN UNIFORMS", and a thermal mug with Marvel heroes printed on them. Also, I was a weak spirit, and as soon as I found out she hadn't had time to revisit the store to check if they had Loki/Thor keychains for me, I ordered a Loki's Helmet keychain off eBay - I literally had less than 60 cents in my bank account after the purchase. Also, I put some money into the shares/savings account that has been kept for me almost since I was born, I think. Me and my family and my grandpa have put in a about 5 000 €, but as time has passed it has increased by almost 3 000 €. This is not about bragging, I just feel like it's a good thing to have in case I have emergencies or whatnot. Something saved up.

Anyway, I'm going to go debate internally between Tumblr., Animal Crossing, Pokémon, Pushing Daisies and the latest episode of Teen Wolf so bye.
